Tonight, I’ve spent writing a 10 hour long essay with no avail. Doesn’t that suck? On the bright side I have made a lot of great notes, read a lot of great synopsis’ of plays and monologues, chosen my monologue and stayed awake until 4am! I have also come to the conclusion to read the Eat Pray Love book by Elizabeth Gilbert. I’ve ordered a tonne of books. I’ve also come across a play called Strife by John Galsworthy which I bought and plan on reading. I’m also interested to see a polish production called T.E.O.R.E.M.A.T. which is being performed over the coming weekend at the Barbican here in London. I hope I can fit all of that in. I’ve also just written a scene for my play which I’ve been working on. I’ve had a long long day and I’m going to go to sleep now and do it all again in another 4 hours!

Goodnight,

Gavin

I’ve just been reading a book by Kelly Cutrone called If you have to cry, go outside. I love Kelly Cutrone’s character and charisma. She’s a godsend to this time to empower young people amongst a sea of clowns and dimwits influencing the youth of today. I am speaking as a 19 year old here.

The entire book is full of positive and powerful anecdotes from a young woman’s journey to success. Stories really worthwhile hearing and inspiring told in a way you feel ’ I can do that! ‘. Kelly’s approach to telling a story is very straightforward and down to earth. The difference in this book is, She really writes to teach and influence not just to sell words to make extra cash. She encourages risks, making your dreams come true and finding your OWN happiness and I couldn’t disagree with any of that. In my opinion she is a great role model and has a lot to say which I believe is worthwhile hearing.
